I'm by nature I think both an antinominalist—I critique the pernicious effects of taxonomies, accept the Sapir-Whorf Hypothesis, and thus am forced to reject language as a valid way of understanding the world, and a pragmatic—I am uninterested in asserting or debating “truths” that can be neither proven nor disproven (i.e. solipsism, demonology) but at the same time easily accepting as unargued hypotheticals those (physical reality, etc.) which help us get along to interesting topics (me)— epistemologist—I am less curious about what stupid things we “know” than how we fooled ourselves in the first place.
